We are doing Intro to Hedgehog Appointments. Designed for people/kids who haven't handled a hedgehog. We answer questions, let you handle a few, and explain how to pick out the best hedgehog for you when the time comes. After the appointment if you'd like to place a deposit on a baby we are happy to become your hedgehog breeder. |

Personality Scale and price guide for babies
1 - Exceptionally sweet, outgoing & friendlly (up to 400.00)
2 - Very sweet but can be easily startled (up to 300.00)
3 - Shy at first but warms up after a few minutes (up to 280.00)
4 - Very shy and takes awhile to open (up to 250.00)
5 - Completely anti-social or stays in a ball (up to 150.00)
MOST of VHG BABIES @ 6-8 wks old are between 1-3
Hedgehog Requirements / Guidelines
1. Correct Temperature range 76-80 F,
use either a heating pad set on low, heat lamp with heat emitter, or mobile heater for a room
2. Brands of cat food (no corn);
Halo, Blue, Taste of the Wild, Solid Gold, Welness, Simply Nourish, Premium Edge, Fromm, Holistic Select
3. water bottle 8oz or larger
4. cage sizes

95-120qt plastic totes
5. bath and nails min. once a month, if they need a bath give them one.
6. 10-12' wheel, hedgehog safe, they need a solid running surface.
7. igloo, cave, or blanket to sleep in
8. Emergency veterinarian clinics # on hand, just in case.
